Nothing

Today is a day of nothing.

I weighed in yesterday and gained 2 pounds. I'm tired of this bouncing up and down deal. It's a waste of my time and money. I need to buckle down and be serious. I'm surprised I didn't lose though. I was so stressed out and busy all week that I barely ate anything.

The first week of class is over. This semester is going to be so hard. The hardest in my college career. I know that for a fact. For one thing I'm taking Corporate Accounting which is the hardest class of my major. Students often end up switching majors after they take it because they can't hack it. I'm also taking Intro to Accounting Sytems, College Writing and Operations Management. So I have quite the work load ahead for me this semester. I don't think I'll be able to work at all this semester. I'm sure some people could, but I know it will be too hard for me. I hope I do well.

I bought an iPod Nano a few days ago. I really like it. It plays music videos, movies and tv shows. And they look great. I bought an 8GB one so I have lots of room. It holds all my music from my computer and all my 70 billion cd's. And there's still room to spare. I also put all my pictures on it from my computer. I have 2002 of them. And they barely took up space.

Anyways, long story but I bought it at Walmart. I wanted a red or pink one but they said they didn't make them. I looked around on the Apple website and they do have a special edition red one that is only sold on the website. It was the same price as the one I bought, it had free shipping, and also included free engraving. So I ordered one with my name on it and I'm going to take the one I bought back to Walmart. Screw them. I want a red one with my name on it. Since all the songs, pics and videos are kept on a program on my computer it won't be a big deal at all to switch them out. I also wasn't impressed with the off brand FM transmitter that I bought to play the iPod in my car. So I'm returning that too and I already ordered an Iroad off ebay. I read a lot of reviews of FM transmitters and it appears that none of them work that great. But an Iroad is supposed to work way better than any other ones. I ordered a few covers on ebay too. They were way cheaper than in the store. For instance I bought a pink silicone cover for $1 on ebay. It's brand new and that $1 price tag includes shipping and everything. They were selling the exact same one at Walmart for $10. I also bought a couple hard plastic covers for $5 a piece. I can't wait to get all my stuff. Mail time is so fun when I've been shopping on Ebay.

I guess that's all for today. Enjoy!

I have an older nano. It's one of the first gen ones that doesn't have video capabilities. It's tiny and white and I think it's a 4 gig. HOWEVER

Tim got one for christmas. One of the big fancy ones that plays movies and all that jazz. But his is 80 gigs. yah that's not a typo. eighty. He put his eleventy billion cds on it and has barely made a dent in it. I think he has some 4000 songs on it. He'll never fill that thing up.

I want a pink one. I paid for mine two years ago what Tims cost last month. I'm a little pissed about that.

I think he also put some porn on it. For the perv on the go?!

Hmmm...I want to be a perv on the go. I haven't figured out how to put anything but paid iTunes material on mine. Well, except the music and pics. I got all my Limewire stuff on there without a problem. I just can't figure out how to put any non iTunes videos, movies, or audio books on it. Maybe you could tell me.

Dan's brother only bought his iPod a year ago and he was bitching about the same thing. That he could have gotten a better one with more memory for the same price. I guess that's technology for you. I've never even owned an MP3 player before so I'm all totally impressed. I hope I use it a lot though. And I hope the new FM transmitter works good. The one I bought was staticy and sounded like shit no matter what station I put it on and no matter what volumes I used. Also it sounded awful if you tried to have the volume loud. It really means a lot to me to be able to rock out in my car with the volume full blast. So I'm really praying the new one I ordered works well. It's called a Roadtrip not an Iroad like I put in the blog.

I wouldn't even know what to do with 80 gigs, but I imagine if you were into getting the movies and tv shows and stuff it would fill up fast.

I have an FM transmitter for mine. I got it at walmart for like, 75$! And it's gay. I use it because, ya know, what else am I going to do. But, like, normally, the volume on my radio only needs to be around 20 for me to rock out loudly. But with the transmitter, I need to turn it up all the way to 50!!!! And, when I'm in a bad area it goes in and out or picks up radio stations intermitently (sp) and when certain types of large trucks are near me, it goes out. Instead of getting that, Tim just went ahead and got a 200$ stereo for his truck. It has a little cable that comes out of it so it just hooks the ipod directly into the stereo. You don't even use the ipod controls. it's pretty neat and I'm sure I'll get one eventually.

But i had to get something, because pretty much the only thing I do in my car is sing at the top of my lungs and rock out. Now I don't need CD's to do that! haha!

yah that's the thing. he's not really into putting tv shows or movies on it, because i don't think he really can put them on there, since we don't have internet! But we're both very passionate about music, so he's been filling it up. Except he's been using my laptop to do it and i'm worried my poor little laptop will run out of space!!!

I was looking around online and found some programs for converting videos for use on iTunes. But I didn't figure out how to use them.

I've seen those plugs on newer car stereos. I surely won't be paying $200 for one though. Forget that. I just hope the transmitter I bought works better. Considering the one I bought was $20 and uses batteries, I'm sure anything would be an upgrade. Although the one I ordered online was only $20 but it retails at $100. So we shall see. I can't wait to get everything.

awesome. Yah mine is some weird brand I've never heard of. Belkin of something. But it just plugs right into the lighter. No batteries. No cords. It plugs into the lighter, and the ipod plugs directly into it. Still gay though.

The shitty one I'm returning is a Belkin. The one I bought online is a Griffin. That's the brand they sell at the online Apple store. So I'm hoping for better luck.
